Meeting community needs:
We began our community work in 1997 with the 'We Care - We Share' food program and 'My Brother's Closet' giving homeless families books, clothing and food.
Presently the church operates a food pantry in the Englewood community, an area known for low-income and working class families, an HIV Prevention ministry, a computer learning center and provides job training opportunities to youth and ex-offenders/new citizens.
Youth ministries include a mentoring program, after school programs, adventure outings and Team Enforcers - an rc car and truck racing club.
Agape also provides emergency aid to families, free family counseling, domestic violence services and a very supportive fellowship. The core leadership team: Apostle Ulysses Ruff and Pastor Yvonne Ruff are both known for dynamic bible teaching and preaching.
Evangelist Ruff is also known for her anointed singing and is considered a dynamic praise and worship leader and psalmist. More information and pictures can be found under the section entitled leadership.
